Grad school lasted three weeks--all online--an uncomfortable format for Jewels, and then a part-time publishing gig went full-time, and the choice was made. Now she comes here to let off steam, anonymously. That way, no one gets hurt. :-D

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines!!!!!!!!!!!
I am enrolled. I have an idea of the cost (manageable), but am still waiting for the State of California to stick it to the universities with budget cuts and tuition hikes. But still.
Good. Eventually stuff like this gets resolved. Pace yourself accordingly. :D It's a big urban school with a really diverse population and a lot of competing demands and it's been hit harder than some other campuses by the budget issues. Still, these kinds of delays usually work out okay.
I have a thank you note all written, addressed, and stamped ready to go to my advisor, and an invitation to allow me to take her to coffee when I'm in town. I know she's busy, but she handled this for me with care and concern--and it's not unappreciated. She's a very nice lady; I like her.
